Does drawing a card from a replacement effect like Abundance count as drawing for Rhystic Study?

Rhystic Study triggers whenever an opponent draws a card (CR 603.2). For this trigger to fire, a draw event must actually occur. A draw event is defined in CR 120.1 as moving the top card of a player's library to their hand as a draw.

Abundance (and similar replacement effects) work under CR 614.1a: they replace a draw event with a different effect — in Abundance's case, the player reveals cards until finding one of the chosen type and puts it into their hand instead. Because the original draw event is fully replaced, it never happens. There is no draw for Rhystic Study to see (CR 614.5).

This is different from a triggered ability that triggers on the draw and then does something extra — replacement effects intercept and substitute the event before it occurs, leaving no draw event behind.

Concrete example: Your opponent has Abundance in play. On their draw step, they use Abundance to find a land. Rhystic Study does not trigger, because no card was drawn — the draw was replaced by Abundance's effect. You do not get to ask for the {1} payment.

If instead the opponent used a spell like Divination (which says 'draw two cards' and has no replacement), each of those two draws would trigger Rhystic Study separately, because real draw events occurred (CR 120.1, 603.2).
