Does lifelink from a source dealing combat damage to multiple blockers give life for each blocker hit?

Short answer
Yes. Lifelink grants life equal to the total damage dealt, so hitting multiple blockers gives life for each point of damage dealt to each blocker.

Lifelink is a static ability that causes damage dealt by the source to also cause its controller to gain that much life (CR 702.15a). Crucially, this applies to all damage dealt by the source in a single event, not just damage to a single creature.

When an attacking creature with lifelink is blocked by multiple creatures (which can happen if it has trample or if the blocking creatures each receive assigned damage), the game resolves the damage all at once during the combat damage step (CR 510.1–510.2). The lifelink triggers off the total damage dealt, so you gain life equal to every point of damage dealt across all targets.

For example, suppose your 5/5 creature with lifelink is blocked by two 2/2 creatures. You assign 2 damage to the first blocker and 3 damage to the second (or split however you choose up to 5). When damage resolves, you gain 5 life in total — 2 for hitting the first blocker and 3 for hitting the second — in a single life-gain event.

Note that lifelink creates one life-gain event equal to all damage dealt simultaneously (CR 702.15b), not a separate event per blocker. This matters for cards that trigger "whenever you gain life" — they trigger once, not once per blocker.

If the creature has trample and some damage spills over to the defending player, that damage also contributes to the same lifelink life-gain event, further increasing the total life gained.
